Students are challenged to design a five piece collection for an informal bite in a culture other than their own. They must consider what is being eaten, how, when and complemented by what drinks.

This tea set draws on the ornament and extravagance of English afternoon tea as well as explores the material and aesthetic of Bauhaus design. I wanted to challenge the traditional form and ornament of a tea set by simplifying it forms and usual decoration to produce a more modern root in tradition.
